Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s a Reissue

July 30th, 2007 by admin

On October 29, Virgin Records will reissue the Sex Pistols classic Never Mind the Bollocks Here’s the Sex Pistols on vinyl, according to Billboard.com. It comes packaged with a poster and the one-sided 7" for "Submission". The reissue is meant to deliver the LP to fans just as it was when it was originally released back on October 29, 1977. Hey, that was exactly 30 years ago! Clever, clever.

As it was originally intended, your CD copy of Bollocks sticks "Submission" right smack in the middle of "Anarchy in the UK" and "Pretty Vacant". Billboard.com reports that the track was originally left off the first 50,000 copies of the LP, and was included as an insert, just like the reissue.

Their four classic singles "Anarchy in the U.K.", "God Save the Queen", Pretty Vacant", and "Holidays in the Sun" will also be reissued throughout October as seven inches, with their original artwork and B-sides.

Bollocks LP reissue tracklist (not that you don’t already have it memorized):

01 Holidays in the Sun
02 Liar
03 No Feelings
04 God Save the Queen
05 Problems
06 Seventeen
07 Anarchy in the UK
08 Bodies
09 Pretty Vacant
10 New York
11 E.M.I.
