- Festival promoters Goldenvoice announced Aphex Twin, Goldfrapp, Kate Nash and Serj Tankian have been added to this year’s Coachella Festival. Goldenvoice also told Billboard.com fans shouldn’t expect lineup additions to their new All Points West Festival.
- Journey will release a three-disc CD/DVD package exclusively at Wal-Mart on June 3 featuring one CD of re-recorded classics, a second of new tracks, and a live DVD.
- Kid Rock held a meet-and-greet as a means of making amends with the Atlanta Waffle House where he was arrested last year. The event benefited an area homeless shelter.
- Iron Maiden will release Somewhere Back in Time, a combination of classic tracks from the band’s first ten years and a live album from their current tour. The album will also be available as a free download that will expire after three listens.
