Skirtboard Rubber has a fairly hard durometer which limits its pliability and elasticity.  Typically it requires cutting with powerful waterjet technology.  With a blend of SBR and Natural Rubber, skirtboard has good resistance to ethanol, formaldehyde, glycerin, sea water, boric acid and chlorine.  It is not suited for use with oils, fuels, solvents, or hydraulic fluids.
